Francesco Veri

Francesco Veri is a Senior Researcher at the Centre for Democracy Studies at the University of Zurich, a Senior Researcher at the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the University of Geneva and an associate at the Centre for Deliberative Democracy and Global Governance at the University of Canberra.

🎯 Expertise: Renowned for his contributions to democratic governance, political 

      behaviour, political participation and deliberative democracy.

     Francesco's research offers a deep understanding of both representative and

     direct democratic systems. His proficiency extends to democratic innovations and     

     advanced political quantitative methodologies, including discourse mapping and

     cultural consensus theory.

🔍 Major Achievement: Co-authored the groundbreaking Deliberative Reason 

      Index (DRI), published in the American Political Science Review.

🌐Francesco is also a member of the Lucerne Cluster for Configurational Methods

    (LUCCS) at the University of Lucerne which regroups scholars who make major

    contributions to social science methodology at the crossroads between quantitative

    and qualitative research.

🌐Francesco is vice-president of DemocracyNet an international and interdisciplinary

     association for researchers in democracy studies.
